The art of making Real Ale and British Bangers….what’s not to love!

You will have a fun and informative day learning how to make fantastic, all natural Real Ale plus design and make your own British Bangers set in the magnificent South Norfolk Countryside at the Chet & Waveney Valley Vineyard.

Here at Marsh Pig we are dedicated to the art of Curing and Smoking; however we are equally dedicated to drinking alcohol! So, one evening over a few glasses of real ale and some homemade sausages with smoked mash with our good friend Andy, we started discussing what a great combination beer and bangers is…our ‘Beer and Bangers’ course was born!


We are committed to teaching you the ancient art of all grain ale brewing; no kits, just malt, hops, water and yeast all natural ingredients giving you a perfectly balanced real ale. On top of making your ale you will also design your own sausage recipe, make and take home your own bangers…true Generation Game fun!

The course will take you through:

  • Fundamentals of all-grain brewing
  • Importance of quality ingredients
  • Differences between different types of beers
  • Designing your own sausage recipe
  • Stuffing & tying sausages into links

All ingredients, equipment, a light breakfast and an informal lunch are included.
You will take home approximately 36 pints of beer to finish brewing at home and a kilo of your own designed sausages.
